Primesite Construction are pleased to announce that we have secured the UK distribution licence for Green Magic Homes. As featured in this Daily Mail press article which inludes several photos.

We are very excited about the concept and potential of these products.

As the product is still so new to the UK, there aren’t any installations as yet so WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PILOT SITE. We are also looking for teams of REGISTERED INSTALLERS. They will be trained to correctly construct the homes for customers should they wish a complete supply and install package. Please email us if you are interested in either opportunity.

The interest from Europe has been so great, that a manufacturing facility is currently being set up in Spain, with production due to begin soon. This will make EU conformity and shipping much easier. A series of tests will ensure EU type approval and then we plan to gain a UK certificate for the build system from a national building control body - the LABC. This will make passing building regulations for each build so much easier. As soon as production is rolling and all the relevant certificates gained, we can give a much clearer idea of finished install cost.

Gaining planning permission would be the same as usual. We will be able to supply floorplans, and elevations for the planning application and then the LABC certificate for building control purposes. We believe that the TINY HOMES range will fall within permitted development in certain circumstances.

COSTS
This is a wholesale, factory direct price, shipped from our plant in Cancun, Mexico.
The average transportation cost to any destination in the world is US$7 dollars per sq ft.  and takes 30-60 days.
We then need to get this container to site from the port so there will be a further charge.

The cost of our GREEN MAGIC HOMES includes:

1. The structural components of the technology in polymer compounds (FRP)
2. Galvanized steel screws
3. Elastomer for sealing of parts.
4. Packing and Assembly Manual.

Insulation may be required – 100mm of spray foam is recommended. Primesite have a sprayer who will quote per job.
Internal walls are not included. We will advise on the construction of these.
We are looking at an appropriate heating system and floor slab for the UK.
Doors and windows will need to be UK supplied. I can either supply a door and window schedule for your own pricing or will get quote from my supplier. We will provide a cross section for compliance to UK building regs.
